Pokemon has basically been the most important fictional thing for me my entire life growing up, all the way into adulthood.

Gradually, through the gens, move tutors and egg moves were kind to Hitmonlee. When gen 3 came, I made another Scuffler.
Even though he wasn't very good, my favorite Pokemon from that game was Hitmonlee. I wondered what the max moves for other Pokemon were. I saw he could only have 4 moves at a time. Started playing Pokemon Red on Christmas day my little brother got Blue.
